Hi guys , I'm Stiddy and this is my first attempt at a build log .
So I've got way to many projects on the go and T3 is one of them .
But this time i'm going for a 1/2 scale 3D printed version ,I have 2 CR10s one working (V2) and the other i could quite happily put in the road and drive over .
By trade I'm a AV Installer in London ,have 3 step kids and I'm always skint ,so a full size build is not an option ( He/She )is huge ,I'm great with building fully automated homes cabling ,mounting all the physical side ,but computers are really my down fall......................so here goes
The T3 page is good fun and you can see the guys work their butts of f,and as T3 isn't a movie star pictures and files are a bit thin on the ground
You can find a few files on Thingiverse ,and a few PDF files and screen grabs on the FB T3 page .
I started first with a head ,the file comes in many section and my preferred design tool is Tinkercad ,so spent many hours down scaling files then trying to merge them together (which sucks, and is just this second thought ,why didn't i ask for the un sliced files ).
seeing if I liked what iIsee ,then print it ,it came out ok ,then life gets in the way and another project gets shelved, Working on sites in London really will drain you.
Also I'm 5 years post Heart transplant ,so sometimes I don't have the energy
Jump forward to March 2020,someone eats a bat and shuts down a planet ( that's a something you hear in a film ) and as I'm part off the super special 1.5 million at high risk I'm grounded for 12 frigging weeks , I'm learning how to photoshop ,learning some programing for work ,and T3 is back on the printer
So this is a Prologue ........................as I don't have a workshop , we shall call it the Dining table build log .
And Rob said I had to do it
